Lourdes nursing wins $3M in grants

Lourdes College School of Nursing in Sylvania beat out several schools across the country for more than $3 million.

Lourdes will receive the money in grants over the next three years.

U.S. Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur visited the college Wednesday for the announcement.

The 43 million will help increase the number of minority and disadvantaged students pursuing a career in nursing. It will also provide scholarships to three dozen students annually.
